As we open the Global Bio-integrated Materials Center (GBMC), we take the first step toward the ambitious goal of realizing a “Super-Wellbeing Society” for humanity.
Our Center’s core mission is the development of imperceptible, non-irritating, and super-functional bio-integrated interfacing materials that organically interact with living tissues. By establishing a foundation of safe, breakthrough materials, we aim to elevate the quality of human health and life.
To this end, our Center is developing material & processing technologies whose properties closely match those of biological tissues. We will build a flexible material platform to perfectly conform to the human body's complex curvatures and movements, ultimately verifying the clinical applicability of future technologies like next-generation artificial organs and brain-computer interfaces (BCI).
The Global Bio-integrated Materials Center seeks to transcend the limitations of fragmented research by evolving into a “Platform Hub” that provides solutions, systematically integrating the capabilities of leading domestic and international universities, research institutes, hospitals, and industries.
Through close collaboration with leading institutions and hospitals such as Stanford, Harvard, and Northwestern, as well as with global companies, we will establish a robust international research network. Furthermore, by aligning our R&D with real-world industry needs, we will catalyze successful startups and technology commercialization.
The Center will secure global leadership by simultaneously achieving original technology development and commercialization, becoming a global leader in bio-integrated materials. We will do our utmost to ensure our research diffuses toward a healthier future and the realization of a ‘Super-Wellbeing Society.’
We sincerely appreciate your continued interest and support.
Thank you.
